Warning Compound.finance front page appears to have been hacked

At the time of writing, compound.finance, a well known and veteran crypto lending platform, has a rogue link to its app on the website's front page. The app link points to a misspelled domain, which hosts what clearly seems to be a rogue phishing site.

  • Do not interact with the rogue site.
  • Revoke all approvals you granted to compound.finance, just in case the hack goes deeper. Use a service like revoke.cash or do so within your wallet (if your wallet provides a revocation functionality).
  • Do not deposit to compound.finance until the issue is clearly addressed and resolved.

Update 1: the rogue link has apparently been fixed, which implies Compound is fully aware of the issue.
